Club Records Galore!

It's time to announce those club records that we teased earlier in the day...

First up it has to be Tyler Bilyard. Having already improved his U20M 800m club record on multiple occasions this season, Tyler knocked over two and a half seconds off at the Watford open meeting on the 7th August, improving his record to an incredible 1m 54.10s. Brilliant Tyler, very well done đź‘Ź

Next up it's U20M John Jennings. Predominantly a sprinter John threw a javelin at the EAL event in Ipswich on the 4th August setting a new club record of 20.23m. Well done John.

Just a week after becoming a new Team GYDAC member, U13B Edgar Alston broke the 27 year old discus club record! Edgar threw 21.17m during the EAL meeting in Ipswich on the 4th August, improving the old record by 75cm. Welcome Edgar and very well done đź‘Ź

Moving onto our ladies now and its V50W Diane Wassmer who extended her own shot put club record to 6.42m during the same EAL fixture in Ipswich on the 4th August. Well done Diane.

And finally for now its V45W and U11 Team Manager Claire Fielding who has added the 400m club record to the 60m, 100m, 150m and 200m that she already holds! Claire stopped the clock at 70.3s during the senior women's 400m race at the EAL held in Ipswich on the 4th August.

Well done to all of our record breakers. The club records will be updated in the coming days...
