Kings Lynn Quadkids

Excellent day for the Quadkids on Sunday in Kings Lynn!!

We have a champion in the U/11 girls! Mia Squires won on the day with a new club record score of 233 points (including equalling the Quadkids record in Standing long jump of 2m09) and followed it up with a win for the series, bringing home the trophy! Well done Mia!

Amy Fielding equalled her 75m PB in 11.4s contributing to winning the bronze medal and also finished in 3rd place in the series. Great effort!

Maizie Boylan ran a fantastic 600m, leading strongly until the very end finishing in a new PB of 2m01s after setting another PB in the 75m with a time of 11.6s!

Not to be outdone, Maya Ellis had a hat trick of PB’s in the 75m in 12.3s; a huge 21cm improvement in standing long jump of 1.78m and added another massive 5.5m on to her vortex PB to achieve a throw of 17.70m! Superb!

Emily Roberts in the U/13 girls leaped to a new PB of 3.92cm in the long jump - a 13cm improvement, which helped to a 4th place yesterday and silver medal position in the series! Good job Emily!

And finally, our only male athlete, George Smith managed to set a new PB in his least favourite event, the 800m in a time of 2m57s in the U/13 boys - This was after a challenging long jump when despite 2 no jumps, he leapt to a very respectable 3.66m in the final round. Well done for coping so well under pressure, George -You should be proud!

That’s all folks - Looking forward to next year!🤗
